Single row deep groove ball bearings accommodate radial and axial loads in both directions, due to the deep, uninterrupted raceway grooves which have a close osculation with the balls. These bearings are available in open or capped design (with seals or shields). Open bearings that are also available capped, may have recesses in the outer ring.
